Personal Tax Semi-Senior

Butler Rose, public practice, is delighted to support our client, a highly prominent, well-known mid-size Leicester accountancy practice ranked in the top-60, eager to appoint a skilled Personal Tax Semi-Senior to complement the existing tax department.
Role Requirements:
1. Providing an efficient, client-focused, and proactive service to meet the needs of private clients.
2. Liaising proactively with clients on advisory matters.
3. Working with directors and managers on technical assignments.
4. Managing day-to-day client portfolio, including billing and monitoring work in progress.
5. Ensuring that the firm's risks are managed appropriately.
6. Liaising with HMRC in relation to client matters and dealing with enquiries from HMRC.
7. Meeting new clients with the appropriate partner/director and being a main point of contact with those clients going forward.
8. Preparing personal and partnership tax returns.
9. Reviewing personal and partnership tax returns prepared by more junior members of staff / preparing complex compliance cases.
Person Requirements:
1. Ideally ATT studying or qualified.
2. Current experience of private client/personal tax working for a reputable accounting firm.
3. Highly proficient in carrying out tax compliance as well as providing tax advisory services to clients.
