Job overview
Our award-winning PICU is looking for a dynamic experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to work within Rowan Ward.
Our PICU has international recognition with regards to reducing restrictive practice. We have worked hard to ensure that all of our staff have great de-escalation and communication skills and think outside of the box when managing challenging patients. We work to the NAPICU guidelines regarding our practice within PICU.

Main duties of the job
* Support the MDT with the development of the clinical pathway of person-centred quality care plans which evidence assessment, formulation, and treatment plans designed to support recovery.
* Ensure that the service meets the requirements of the CQC.
* Improve and facilitate engagement of patients with specialist services to include people with ASD and substance misuse.
* Improve the quality of care provided to patients by increasing the knowledge and skills of staff.
