Position Type: Part Time – 25 hours per week (Mon – Fri 7.30am – 11am, 4.30pm – 6pm)
Oakfield Primary School is seeking to recruit a flexible, enthusiastic, and reliable Caretaker to start ASAP. Good communication, interpersonal, and DIY skills are essential.
You will be responsible for:
1. Security of the premises
2. General maintenance work and repairs
3. Health and safety issues relating to the building
4. Opening and closing of the school premises
5. Cleaning when necessary
6. Porterage duties
It is essential that you are capable of regular stooping, bending, lifting, and carrying of equipment, materials, and furniture, and are able to climb ladders.
There will need to be a degree of flexibility around certain key events in the school calendar, e.g., parents’ evenings, governing body meetings, and school discos.
To work in our busy school, you must be positive, hardworking, and have a strong commitment to high standards of service delivery.
