As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping patient care and contributing to the ongoing success of our services Job Advert Location Description Role Responsibilities As a consultant psychiatrist at Priory Hospital Dorking, you will: - Be responsible for 18 patients within the acute service line. Currently, the ward is male only, however it has the potential to switch to a mixed acute ward; -Take clinical responsibility for patients, including multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk reviews, CPA reviews, liaison with family/carers, liaison with community teams/stakeholders and planning the patient's discharge from an early stage; - Provide expert psychiatric assessments and treatment for a diverse patient population. - Have oversight and input into assessment of referrals, seeking ways to support the admission of patients in need of inpatient support; - Review care and treatment to ensure it is high quality and evidence based; - Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, therapists, and nursing staff; - Contribute to management meetings and clinical governance for the service and contribute to the development of service strategy; - Participate in on-call rota across Priory Hospitals Dorking, Burgess Hill and Ticehurst; - Foster relationships with external stakeholders and maintain a network of professional contacts; - Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical guidelines and regulatory standards; - Maintain CPD and re-validation requirements, as determined by the Royal College of Psychiatrists, GMC or other relevant statutory bodies Apply Today: To learn more about this exciting opportunity and to apply, contact Steven Hemblade, Email [ Click Apply] or Bonnie Segwagwe [ Click Apply], [ Click Apply].
