Teacher of Maths (Maternity Cover)

Salary: M1-M6 £31,650 to £43,607, UPR 1-2 £45,646 to £49,084
Start date: Monday 10th February 2025
Hours: Full time as specified within the STPCD.
Cover until 22nd February 2026 unless the returning staff member resumes their role earlier.
We are looking to appoint a passionate Teacher of Maths to join the Maths department on a maternity cover basis.
The Prescot School is situated in a state of the art, 21st century building, situated on the outskirts of Prescot, approximately ten miles from Liverpool City Centre. We are an 11-16 school which opened in September 2016 as a converter Academy linked to the outstanding ‘The Heath Family Trust’.

The successful applicant will be an innovative, creative and outstanding practitioner, who will be able to contribute to the planning and delivery of the Maths curriculum at KS3 and KS4. The Maths Department are a talented and supportive team who work together to improve student outcomes.
