About the Role: We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance and Administration Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience of day-to-day financial transactions, Management Accounting, Xero accounting software and other cloud-based finance systems, as well as credit control experience. The role will also include general administrative duties. You will play a key role in supporting our finance team while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations supporting the wider Management Team. Key Responsibilities: · Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including posting transactions, reconciling multiple bank accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records using Xero. · Action accounts payable and receivable processing, ensuring timely payments and receipts reconciliation. · Support Monthly Management Accounts Process and monthly financial reports preparation. · Customer Subscription Management Support & Credit Control o Manage Customer subscription, working closely with customer Account Managers o Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and liaise with clients to resolve payment issues. o Maintain accurate records of communication with customers regarding credit control matters. o Maintain and update customer subscriptions and other financial data in various cloud-based systems. Administrative Support: o Provide general administrative support to the finance and wider management team. o Provide administration support for HR & Health & Safety processes. o General Office Duties Key Skills and Attributes: Skills · Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. · Excellent communication and customer service skills, particularly for credit control and customer subscription support. · Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software. · Ability to multitask and work independently. Attributes · Capable of working alone, self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. · Reliable, with a strong sense of integrity and discretion. · Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
