Keltbray Infrastructure Services Limited’s energy division is looking for a Tender Planner to join our Project Planning team. The Tender Planner will play a pivotal role in the development of comprehensive project plans and schedules specifically tailored for tender submissions. Utilising your expertise in Primavera P6, you will collaborate with various teams to create accurate and competitive tender proposals. This role requires a deep understanding of project planning principles, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. Primary tasks and duties Tender Planning Utilise Primavera P6 to develop detailed and realistic project schedules for inclusion in Business Unit tender submissions. Collaborate closely with the estimating team to integrate project scope, resource requirements, and timelines into the tender plan. Ensure alignment of tender programmes with the organisation's strategic objectives and client requirements as documented in the PQQ / ITT. Ensure Supply chain are fully aligned in regards to expectation to achieving the deliverables set out under the ITT. Schedule Optimisation Analyse project schedules to identify critical paths, resource constraints, and potential risks. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimise schedules for accuracy and competitiveness to achieve maximum scores. Communication and Collaboration: Engage with internal stakeholders, including estimating, engineering, and procurement teams, to gather relevant information for tender planning. Provide clear and concise explanations of the tender schedule to support the overall proposal. Governance Ensure that every program undergoes a comprehensive review, involving close collaboration with the tender team to meticulously generate and document key assumptions. Once approved ensure each programme prior to submission is reviewed by the Business Unit Planning Manager. Attend Tender start-up meetings coordinated by the Bid Manager Ensure Schedule scores a XER Toolkit pass rate before submission to the client Ensure Schedules adhere to the Keltbray Programme Management Plan Helps support the bid Schedule if required to track progress through the duration of the tender timeline leading up to submission. Secondary tasks and duties Engaging with the commercial and operational teams to drive continuous improvements. Displaying a commitment to personal professional growth and nurturing the development of others within the Business Unit. Other tasks appropriate to the role of Project Planner, as identified by the Senior Planner / Planning Manager Support and contribute to the Infrastructure PMO Support Business Unit initiatives Qualifications and Training Essential: Primavera P6 Professional Advanced Microsoft Packages - Visio / Excel / Word / Powerpoint etc. APM PMQ Qualified (If less than 5 years’ experience in the Project Planning Role Various Forms of Contract including the NEC 3 & 4 Proven experience as a Planner using Primavera P6 in project planning within the construction, engineering, or related industry. Desirable: Educated to Degree level or equivalent Power BI Gain experience site experience to better understand the discipline of the business.
