Job description
Part time, permanent position, term time only.
Salary – Competitive, based upon the United Learning Support staff pay scale from £24,203 per annum - £32,832 (FTE) depending on qualifications and previous experience.
William Hulme’s Grammar School (WHGS) is an all-through school and one of the most over-subscribed schools in Manchester. WHGS is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed AV/Sound Technician on a permanent, part-time basis. Reporting to the Head of Music and Faculty Leader, the main duties will include the following:
* To provide technical support and assist teaching staff in the staging of academy performances, e.g. concerts, shows and assemblies, and lessons where appropriate.
* Record and edit Music and Drama performances for KS4 and 5 qualifications, and support in the preparation for submission (Logic Pro X).
* To maintain, trouble shoot and help fix, where applicable, equipment in the music and drama departments, e.g. fixing musical keyboards and guitars.
