Local authority in the Cambridgeshire area currently require an interim Housing Maintenance Improvement Manager for initially until the end of September. Purpose of the role: To manage the service's complaints, investigating, responding, and evaluating the complaints received. Analyzing ways to improve procedures and service delivery to reduce the number of complaints the service receives To monitor and manage the services response to legislative changes To manage the disrepair cases in line with the Housing Protocol guidelines, liaising with the legal team, housing management, asset management and operations team. To be the services point of contact for freedom of information request and ensuring that the responses are provided within the legislation time frames. Work alongside the Head of Service to develop and deliver improved working practices and projects. To line manage the Tenant Liaison Officer, Operations Administrator and the Business Administration Apprentice Maintain a positive, helpful, respectful approach to all aspects of the role including dealing with colleagues, responding to incidents and general communications.
