Salary: £32,500 per annum
Schedule: 5 out of 7 days per week

As a vital member of our Operations team, you will lead a talented crew in executing high-profile events across our campus in the retail, hospitality, and restaurant sectors. Your role will involve planning and delivering outstanding service while embracing innovative operational and technological advancements. Responsibilities:
1. Operations:
o Maintain daily contact with venue clients to build strong relationships.
o Ensure seamless delivery of high-quality food and drink services.
o Motivate yourself and your team while adapting to client needs.
o Support ordering processes, keeping schedules updated.
o Prepare catering areas for client show rounds.
o Drive sales and manage production and waste effectively.
o Prioritize health, safety, and hygiene compliance.
o Address operational issues promptly and respond positively to customer feedback.
2. Finance:
o Maximize sales opportunities during planning and operations.
o Manage labor scheduling in collaboration with HR.
o Participate in weekly financial performance meetings.
o Monitor and enhance service quality in the Concessions area.
o Control operating costs and ensure budget compliance.
3. People:
o Assist in recruiting, training, and managing staff to uphold high standards.
o Foster team morale through effective communication.
o Train staff on suggestive selling techniques and provide regular feedback.
o Conduct engaging training sessions and assess staff competency.
About you:
1. Dynamic Venue Experience: Bring your expertise from a fast-paced, high-volume, multi-purpose venue to our team!
2. Sector Awareness: A solid understanding of Corporate Hospitality, Banqueting, and Retail sectors is essential for success in this role.
3. Adaptability: Thrive in a changing environment and demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges.
4. Team Leadership: Proven experience in working with and/or managing large teams, fostering collaboration and growth.
5. Exceptional Communication: Possess outstanding communication skills to effectively engage and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
6. Strong Administrative Skills: Be organized and detail-oriented, ensuring smooth operations through effective administration.
7. Positive Attitude: Bring a proactive and assertive approach to your work, driving success and motivating others.
8. Tech Savvy: Strong IT skills to navigate and utilize various software and systems efficiently.
9. Health and Safety Knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of Health, Safety, and Food Safety regulations in a foodservice environment.
10. Flexibility: Fully adaptable to the evolving needs of the business and willing to embrace new challenges.
11. Relevant Certification: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Hospitality or a management-related discipline will set you apart.
12. Customer Care Experience: A background in environments that prioritize high levels of customer care will enhance your contribution to our team.
13. Collaborative Approach: Experience in working closely with clients, managing, and delivering on all contractual terms to foster strong partnerships.
