The Role
The post holder will play a crucial role in the redesign of current e-learning modules, ensuring they are both engaging and effective for learners. This will involve collaborating closely with subject matter experts to update and enhance the content. You will also be involved in the delivery of learning and development programs; the facilitation and coordination of various training sessions, workshops, and courses designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees. The post holder will also liaise with local colleges and universities to explore opportunities for collaboration and the commissioning of specialised training programmes.

What we'll need you to bring
* Educated to Degree level
* Professional qualifications appropriate to post – e.g. Certificate in Training Practice
* Experience in design/developing, delivering, evaluating and maintaining a range of generic learning programmes, such as induction, communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer care
* Experience of developing e-learning
* Excellent communication / interpersonal skills
* Displays initiative and enthusiasm for learning & development
* Excellent presentation skills
* Good planning and organisational skills
* Good training and facilitation skills
* Good PC skills - ability to use Microsoft software to a high standard
* Customer focus / positive attitude
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
* Ability to work under pressure, balancing priorities and working to set timescales
* Car Driver must have a full, valid UK/EU/EEA licence
* Ability to travel between sites in Lanarkshire
It would be great if you also have
* Experience in designing and developing MS Teams
* Previous experience in using learnPro LAB Advanced or Articulate software
* Good understanding of the training cycle and knowledge of the different ways in which people learn
