Job Title: Landscape Construction Team Leader
Location: Hampshire- Ideal candidate located in Southern Hampshire
Salary: Up to £35,000.00 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)
Benefits: Company Van (work use only), profit share bonus up to £4,000 per annum, company pension, investment from the company in personal training and developments, 31 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), company sick pay.
Our client, a leader in the landscaping space, have been established for over 40 years and are a flourishing landscaping specialist, serving a diverse range of mainly commercial clients, including businesses and public sector mainly within Hampshire
They are currently looking for a full time Landscape Manager construction Team Leader to join their team, working closely with the contract management team delivering hard and soft landscaping within business parks, retail parks, educational sites and other public areas .
The successful candidates will be based mainly on site and the duties will consist of delivery of contracts in line with safety requirements, time management, budget and in conformance to specification and to the clients satisfaction, whilst being responsible for on-site work & liaising closely with the contract manager to deliver landscape projects.
Principal Accountabilities
* Manage all contracts on site efficiently to ensure delivery on time and to specification whilst achieving at least the tendered margins
* Strong operational experience, particularly of hard landscape construction, being able to confidentially lead on construction matters.
* A good understanding of health & safety
* Lead the team on site, ensuring delivery of contracted specification within set timescales
* Ensure all required resources, vehicles, machinery and materials are on site by working closely with the responsible contract manager for the project
* Responsible for onsite health and safety
* Provide clear instructions and taking the initiative with the on-site team to push forward the job in line with programme
* Accurate recording of times and materials used on site
* Liaising with client/customers in a courteous and professional manner
* Delivery of all operational responsibilities in line with the company's policy and procedures
Required Experience & Skills
* Experienced in Landscape construction ideally having previously worked within a landscape environment.
* A good understanding of hard and soft landscape construction
* Ideally hold CSCS and plant operator tickets such as NPORS/LANTRA/CPCS (but if not training will be provided)
* Experienced in managing & motivating teams on site
