Opportunity
The successful Senior Landscape Architect will be responsible for leading landscape planning projects, with a focus on landscape and visual impact assessments (LVIA), environmental assessments, and strategic planning. This role requires a strong understanding of policy and legislation relating to landscape planning, as well as the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including ecology and arboriculture professionals. The Senior Landscape Architect will oversee the preparation of detailed reports, engage with clients and stakeholders, and provide expert advice on the integration of landscape into planning processes. Requirements
The Senior Landscape Architect role requires a background in landscape planning or a related field, with experience in Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA). Ideally, you’ll be a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) or working towards it. We’re looking for someone with strong project management skills who can lead teams and deliver high-quality work on time. You'll need to have a good understanding of planning policy and environmental legislation and be comfortable working closely with clients and other professionals including ecologists and arborists. Communication is key, as you’ll be engaging with various stakeholders, so a friendly, proactive approach will help you succeed in this role.
