Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £27,000 (TBA)

NN15 7PW | Hybrid working – 2 days office 3 days working from home
Responsible to: Head of Fundraising and Marketing
Following a promotion within the organisation, we have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to work within the Marketing team to support the development of fundraising campaigns, across all marketing channels to enable the charity to attract and engage with new and existing supporters to grow our fundraising income.
This is a fixed term role for 9-12 months whilst we review options for a permanent position.
Job purpose and role:
The job holder will work within the Marketing team to support the development of fundraising campaigns, across all marketing channels to enable the charity to attract and engage with new and existing supporters to grow our fundraising income including the development and delivery of clear and compelling cases for support.
You will support the marketing team to implement the fundraising and marketing strategy that meets the aims of the organisation, raises the profile of Cransley Hospice Trust and work with the wider team to review and evaluate activity and monitor performance.
Principal responsibilities and duties:
1. Assist the Marketing Manager to create, design and develop content for marketing and fundraising campaigns across digital and printed mediums.
2. Use your knowledge of design to create, develop, and deliver marketing and communication activity that adheres to brand guidelines and aligns with the organisational strategy and supports annual financial and non-financial targets.
3. Assist the Digital Marketing Executive to produce content to grow our social media platforms ensuring content is relevant to each audience and informs, educates, and inspires.
4. Support the Digital Marketing Executive with scheduling social media content.
5. Work with the marketing team to ensure the WordPress website is continually updated according to the demands of the organisation. This will include (but is not restricted to) the creation of new events, news stories, content pages and overall amendments.
6. Work with the Data and Individual Giving Manager to ensure all communications are compliant and meet GDPR requirements.
7. Support the marketing team and volunteer co-ordinator to promote volunteering across the organisation and externally to deliver against agreed recruitment and retention objectives.
8. Proactively maintain excellent knowledge of digital fundraising practices and campaigns in the sector, including competitor analysis.

The post holder is required to work evenings and weekends to meet business need and will receive TOIL (time off in lieu) as agreed with the head of Fundraising & Marketing.
