The finance analyst will play an integral role in supporting the delivery of the Bank’s strategy, working closely with internal and external stakeholders of the Motor division.
You will ensure the accurate and timely production of financial and management information to stakeholders, using strong analytical and interpersonal skills to provide relevant and insightful analysis, adding value and assisting in decision making.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of month-end information to support the Motor division, tracking actual performance vs plan and producing segmentation and trend analysis on performance across channels, risk segments, and origination cohorts.
* Preparation of the annual Motor budget and quarterly forecasts, engaging with the business and forward flow partners to design and embed proposed strategies.
* Supporting the enhancement of IFRS9 model forecasting across the Motor division.
* Modelling the financial viability and commercial return on potential strategic opportunities (internal/external).
* Preparing monthly financial reports for the Bank’s senior management team and wider stakeholders, highlighting key trends, insights, risks, and opportunities.
* Collaborating with Finance and the wider business, developing strong working relationships.
* Building strong working relationships with external partners to help optimise business growth through clear communication and shared goals.
* Support finance and wider business deliverables as required.
Processes, Risk and Control
* Establish, maintain, and review operating policies and job cards (systems of internal control) to ensure that they are sufficiently robust to safeguard the Group’s assets, ensuring remedial action is taken in a timely manner where weaknesses are identified.
* Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
* Support the risk culture of the organisation by taking personal responsibility for identifying and managing risks in everything you do.
