What will I be doing?
With an eye for detail and a passion for excellence as the supervisor to our team of HGV Technicians, you’ll be hardworking with a commitment to the highest standards of vehicle safety.
Day to day you will:
1. Be responsible for job allocation to the team of technicians.
2. Conduct vehicle QC checking and spot checks.
3. Work with our transport departments on vehicle availability.
4. Prioritize work to meet demands of the business.
5. Ensure cost control on parts and external maintenance.
6. Carry out equipment checks in line with policy.
7. Manage health and safety, near miss reporting.
What you’ll bring to the role:
1. Previous experience in a supervisory/team leader role is preferred.
2. A great communicator who can act as the bridge between the workshop and the office.
3. Your calm nature and methodical approach help you easily work under pressure.
4. A natural problem solver.
5. You’ll have great computer skills.
6. A Class one licence is advantageous.
