A purpose-built luxury Care Home in Crowthorne is currently seeking friendly and experienced Care Assistants on Days and Nights to join their dedicated care team. Job Reference: PK 61419 (Care Assistant) Day and Night shifts available £12.51 to £13.12 per hour with paid breaks (Increasing in April) Contracts for 2, 3 or 4 shifts per week Opportunities to study for NVQs in Health and Social Care This stunning residential care home is furnished and decorated to an extremely high standard with a modern yet homely feel. All rooms offer wet room and en-suite facilities and the service has only been open for less than 3 years so is basically brand new Residents benefit from a variety of large communal rooms on each floor where they can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding woodlands, and a varied menu where they have a choice of freshly cooked meals. The service has a homely atmosphere where clients are treated as individuals with a person-centred care plan. Residents are encouraged to take part in group activities and are supported in pursuing their own individual hobbies. Full training and inductions will be a staple no matter the experience level of any new Carers joining the team, and support is always available from Senior Care Assistants and senior staff members to new Care Assistants joining the home. Main duties for care assistants are as follows: Providing personal care such as assisting with bathing, dressing and using the toilet Manual handling and assisting residents to move around the home, using the appropriate equipment where required Work collaboratively within a team of other Care Assistants to provide a high quality of person-centred care Assisting residents with food and drink throughout the day Promoting residents' health and wellbeing, enabling them to live their lives to the full in their later years Desirable for Care Assistants: Previous experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker NVQ’s within Health and Social Care and/or the Care Certificate For further information on this Care Assistant role please call Phil King on (phone number removed)
