An NHS Trust in the South East is seeking a Unified Desktop Support Engineer to join its dedicated Digital Services department. Youll play a key role in supporting the end user estate across a large and complex healthcare environment. This includes replacing and maintaining a wide variety of hardware such as desktops, laptops, iPads, AV equipment, and more, all critical to the day-to-day running of clinical and non-clinical services. What Youll Be Doing: Participate in Trust-wide equipment refresh programmes, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal disruption. Provide technical support and exceptional customer service to users at various hospital locations. Collaborate with other Digital Services teams including Service Desk, Desktop Support, and Infrastructure. Accurately maintain asset records and configuration documentation using ITSM tools. Ensure equipment installations and support align with Trust SLAs and governance standards. What Were Looking For: Proven experience in IT support environments (ideally 5 years). Strong knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Active Directory, SCCM, RDP, and Citrix. Practical knowledge of network basics WAN/LAN, VPNs, wireless technologies. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills able to explain technical matters to non-technical users. A proactive, customer-centric mindset and the ability to prioritise tasks dynamically. A full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle and willingness to travel to various NHS sites.
