Role and Responsibilities: As a Revit MEP Technician, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems using Revit. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and managing Revit MEP models: Create detailed and accurate MEP models for various projects, ensuring all designs meet the required specifications and standards. Coordination and collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems within the overall design. Clash detection and resolution: Identify and resolve any clashes or issues within the Revit model, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings, schedules, and specifications for MEP systems, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date. Quality control: Conduct regular reviews and quality checks of Revit models to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards. Training and support: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge in Revit MEP. Project management: Assist with the planning and management of projects, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality. Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have: Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience working with Revit MEP. At least 1 year in the UK, with a strong understanding of UK building regulations and standards. Technical skills: Proficiency in Revit MEP, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality models and documentation. Industry knowledge: Experience working on a variety of projects, including residential and commercial. Problem-solving abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
