Job Title: Contract Administrator

Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time, Monday to Friday 08:30-16:30
Our client, a highly skilled contractor and merchant in the construction industry, is seeking a Contract Administrator to join their team. As a key member of the organisation, the Contract Administrator will be responsible for coordinating and managing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of projects.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks are essential for this role.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Taking customer calls and arranging appointments for site visits.
2. Performing adhoc administrative duties to support the team.
3. Liaising with site staff to have an overview of ongoing projects and their progress.
4. Arranging quotations and organising payment schedules.
5. Acting as the point of contact for customers throughout the duration of the projects.
6. Placing orders with suppliers and managing stock levels.
7. Issuing relevant paperwork to site staff for ongoing projects and tenders.
To be considered for this position, candidates must have:
8. Previous experience in contract administration or a similar role.
9. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
12. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
