International Business Development and Relationships Manager position in a mid-sized international law firm. London based, hybrid working.
This mid-sized global organisation are looking for an International BD and Relationships Manager to focus on their global markets growth across Africa, North America and Europe. The role will take ownership of the BD strategies in these regions, with the support and management of a BD Executive. The role will be client centric, managing relationships with key partnership law firms in the regions and international networks.
The firm are about to embark on developing their relationship programme as a whole, so the successful BD / Relationship Manager can play a big part in improving and defining the programme. Given the level of opportunity, the firm see this role as one that can grow long term, with internal progression opportunities.
Key duties of the role will include:
* Developing strategic targeting plans for new and existing business across various jurisdictions;
* Managing the implementation of business plans including the targeting process and go to market strategy;
* Supporting the BDM on the pitching process, with jurisdictional insight;
* Carrying out market research specific to BD growth initiatives;
* Managing relationships with partnered law firms and referral networks.
Ideally you will have gained international BD experience within a law firm, or a reputable accountancy firm. Ideally you will be already at the Manager level, but the firm are open to speaking to Senior Executives stepping up if they have the relevant exposure to international markets. Experience of line management or mentoring junior team members is essential. Experience of working with international referral networks would also be desirable. And knowledge of a CRM system such as InterAction is ideal.
