Your Responsibilities
* To work within the team responsible for the safe loading of finished products onto river vessels and bulk haulage trucks and the unloading of raw materials vessels from the river.
* To play an active role in site Health and Safety, Environmental, Food Safety & promote within shifts.
* Organization of jetty, silos and bulk loading overtime cover.
* Keeping accurate operator timesheets.
* Assist in the investigation of Health and Safety, Environmental, Food Safety and Quality incidents.
* To liaise with Intake Delivery & Silo Manager to execute sound decisions regarding plant, material and product integrity in the raw material and final product handling areas.
* Train as Deputy PFSO organize and execute PFSO drills and exercises. (Port Facility Security Officer)
* Assist with intake delivery/silo operator training and development of standard operating procedures.
* To play an active role in Performance Excellence at Erith, with specific input on the intake delivery/silo function.
* Reporting of any equipment problems or failure & liaise with maintenance department.
* Cover for IDS Manager in their absence.
Your Profile
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to influence others.
* A 100% commitment to Safety in the workplace.
* Good IT Skills including experience using MS Word & Excel.
* A commitment to continuous improvement, performance excellence and promoting change.
* Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) or with the ability to operate at that level.
* Good experience / understanding of the Jetty/Silo/Weighbridge operation at Erith.
* This role is part of the ADM Erith Ltd Collective Agreement – Relay shift pattern.
