Reference 1516 Woodborough: Home to a couple who are flexible as to the timing of a house swap.
This 1960's home is on a quiet residential road, surrounded by fields, hills, and woodland, with plenty of walking paths from the house. They are 20 mins drive to the attractive small town of Southwell in one direction, and 20 mins to Nottingham city centre, which is also accessible by bus every half an hour from the village.
Four miles away is Arnold which has a good variety of shops, cafes, a theatre & library. The nearest shop and eating place is within 10 mins walk, and a much greater selection a couple of miles away.
On the ground floor is the double & twin bedrooms, lounge, kitchen & separate dining room, study, walk-in shower-room & toilet, and a utility room. On the first floor is the other double bedroom, shower-room with toilet & another lounge.
The medium-sized, well-kept back garden is enclosed and laid to lawn with shrubs, a small patio with a table & chairs, and 2 benches. The front garden is also laid to lawn with shrubs and perennials, a pebbled area, and driveway, but no gate to the path & road. Both gardens offer an enjoyable space to relax, and perhaps water a few plants if staying during a dry spell.
St Mark's Woodthorpe (10-15 min drive). About 90 people meet for the family service where the worship is contemporary, and about 35 for the more traditional service. This is a welcoming and inclusive fellowship. There is also an Anglican Church in the village.
