About The Role:
An established and employee focused, medium sized architecture practice is seeking an Associate Director to join their team to manage and oversee UK based projects.
You will work alongside the senior leadership team in this collaborative role to aid in developing the business across various sectors including healthcare, life sciences and higher education sectors. Initially the role will be focused on strategic business development alongside leading projects and teams from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage, lead, and oversee multiple projects
* Lead project teams, ensuring design and technical excellence
* Contribute to studio strategy, bringing forward ideas to help drive the business forward
* Work with the leadership team to further develop the studios reputation and client network
* Lead the bidding, winning and delivery of projects, ensuring professional standards are maintained
* Conduct check-ins with project team leaders, project workflow scheduling ensuring projects are successfully delivered on time to the highest quality
* Ensure processes and procedures are streamlined, implementing improvements where necessary to promote efficiency across the team
* Mentor staff, identify areas for improvement and promote a positive and successful working environment
* Oversee the teams staffing and resourcing needs, with involvement in hiring, interviewing and onboarding/training new employees
* Conduct team performance reviews
* Manage workload projections
Key Skills/Requirements:
* ARB Registered Architect
* 10+ years leadership experience within healthcare, life sciences or higher education or relevant sector
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Motivational in creating high performance and design excellence
* Demonstrates strong leadership, commercial and strategic thinking
* Confident in bringing forward ideas and improvements
* Strong industry connections
* Collaborative in your approach with a strong team mentality
