Business Development Manager - Automotive - Glasgow - Edinburgh
My client is a leading global provider of financial solutions and services for the automotive industry. Their focus is on building and maintaining strong relationships with dealer introducers and direct customers. Reporting to the Sales Director, this fast-paced and challenging role entails canvassing both new and used car dealers and establishing long-term value-added relationships with key introducers and sponsors to deliver asset funding solutions such as HP, PCP, Lease Purchase and personal loans. This hands-on tactical business development and relationship management role also involves seeking out and nurturing new business relationships and managing existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* To ensure that full compliance with all legal financial regulations is strictly adhered to in the selling and documenting of financial transactions.
* To professionally represent the business/brand in all business engagements.
* Blend account management with new business development activity effectively.
* To liaise with regional and national senior management to achieve sales and income/revenue objectives.
* To maintain good working relations with Head Office and colleagues and compliance with internal administrative procedures.
To apply for this fantastic opportunity, you should be able to demonstrate the following:
* 3 years (min) B2B commercial experience selling fleet, corporate or financial asset financing solutions via a brokerage or a direct lender to the automotive industry, etc.
* Or, that you are a talented and ambitious business development manager with a real passion for the automotive sector and keen to explore this fast-paced and innovative marketplace!
* A consultative and solutions-driven sales process.
* Have direct experience in managing a portfolio of field-based accounts.
* Ambitious, tenacious and a proven target achiever.
What’s on offer…?
A competitive base salary ranging from approximately £50,000 to £55,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, there is a strong potential for an achievable bonus of around on top of the base salary.
