This is a unique opportunity to empower vulnerable young people, providing them with the care and guidance they need to thrive. Our work Involves: Supporting UASC as looked-after children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. Helping them navigate the complexities of the immigration system and advocating for their rights. Supporting asylum seeking young people as children in care. Creating and implementing “triple plan” pathway plans tailored to their immigration, education, health, employment, housing, cultural, and personal needs. Conducting specialist assessments, including Merton-compliant age assessments where required. Promoting cultural awareness and ensuring sensitivity to the religious and cultural needs of UASC.
