Your Role
and What You'll Be Doing
In this high-visibility role, you will work closely with partners and decision makers across the firm to ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, having exposure to legal files across all areas of the firm.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct compliance assurance reviews based on firm policies and procedures.
2. Evaluate case files for compliance with regulations and controls.
3. Prepare and lead compliance assurance meetings with senior managers.
4. Create detailed reports summarizing outcomes and recommendations.
5. Address process and file conduct failures, escalating as needed.
6. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Support process and control improvements.
8. Assist with external audits.
About You
9. 1+ years of practical experience in a legal or professional services firm, including work placement or sandwich year.
10. Strong report writing skills and attention to detail.
11. Ability to work with colleagues at all levels.
12. Internal audit or compliance qualifications desirable.
