We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced full-time Receptionist/Administrator.
Come and join our friendly equine team for an interesting and varied workload.
The position will include varying reception and administrative tasks such as:
* Booking in Equine clients and hospital consultations/investigations.
* Taking payments and dealing with account queries through to resolution.
* Answering phones.
* Organizing diaries.
* Responding to queries via phone, in person and email.
* Undertaking and maintaining effective administration processes, protocols and procedures.
* Working with vets and nurses and support staff within the practice.

What we're looking for in our Receptionist/Administrator:
* Previous equine experience is essential; veterinary experience is a plus!
* Experience of working in a busy and challenging environment, with the ability to adapt to change and multi-task.
* Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations.
* An excellent communicator with strong empathy.
* Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public.
* A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems.
The perfect fit:
The candidate should have excellent communication skills, initiative, and be confident in time management, problem-solving, and organization as well as having good computer skills. A geographical knowledge of the area and equine knowledge will be beneficial. Monday to Friday 12.00-17.30 with flexibility to cover other shifts, weekend currently Saturday mornings on an equal shared rota.
