The opportunity:
Due to a period of sustained business growth, we are seeking to recruit a Business Development Executive who will contribute to developing new business opportunities by identifying prospects, creating interest, and setting quality, qualified appointments for the sales team.
Location & Hours:
The role is permanent and based out of our beautiful HQ in Henham (CM22 6AA), enjoying a rural location, where lunch is provided onsite daily and ample parking. Working hours are 20/25 per week and we offer agile working whereby you can work flexibly in line with the requirements of the team.
Key deliverables:
* Work with targeted Platinum Sector (£100k pa rev and repeating business) potential clients (Design & Fit Out, Property Management, Facilities Management) to identify decision makers and influencers in these companies, build relationships, and find new business opportunities. This may include creatively exploring new sectors and avenues to market.
* Book qualified appointments for Sales or KAM team.
* Work as part of our team as required to ensure smooth running of the department.
* Work closely with the Sales and Design Team to ensure good communication and leverage opportunities throughout the sales and design process.
* Keep the CRM up to date, logging interactions and following processes to ensure we work efficiently.
Minimum Requirements:
* Must have a good commercial understanding and be able to connect and communicate with senior people within large organizations.
* Must have excellent written and spoken communication skills.
* Must be organized, motivated, positive, professional, and confident.
* Must be a self-starter, able to research a company, make sound conclusions, and write persuasive communications based on their findings.
* Must be confident to make outreach calls and sound professional on the phone.
The salary for this role is £16,460 with OTE of £22,546 (FTE £36,074).
