About The Role: Enthusiastic about education and teaching Supporting teachers with the preparation of resources to meet the personalised learning intentions of allocated students Effectively managing behaviour in the classroom and following the schools behaviour policies Ensuring safeguarding of children Confidently and flexibly meeting the diverse needs, with experience supporting children Be flexible to year group/ key stage Able to support 1:1 or lead small groups of children To be involved in the provision of all aspects of support necessary that will ensure the students wellbeing and ability to function and engage in learning Understanding students learning goals and targets; enable them to practice and learn new skills and encourage independence About You: Knowledge of the national curriculum Experience supporting children with additional needs (ASD and ADHD) Knowledge of behaviour management strategies Ideally Level 2 or 3 TA qualification or supporting teaching and learning qualification – preferred but not essential Previous experience in education environment or possess appropriate transferrable skills Full time availability Transferrable skills to support children with additional needs If you’re ready to bring your expertise and enthusiasm to the role, apply now We’re excited to welcome a dedicated SEMH Support to the team immediately.
