About the Role
As Head of Programmes, you’ll lead a growing team, working closely with project managers, our Evidence function, external partners, and key stakeholders to deliver strategic initiatives. You’ll be at the forefront of innovation, using data-driven insights to develop, implement, and scale cutting-edge programmes.

Key Responsibilities of Head of Programmes:
Programme Leadership: Implement and manage impactful programmes aligned with our strategic objectives.
Innovation & Best Practices: Research and integrate emerging trends, methodologies, and innovative frameworks (e.g., design thinking, Agile, Lean Startup).
Data-Driven Decision-Making: Collaborate with the evidence team to measure programme effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Business Advisory: Support partner organisations with tailored advisory services to enhance impact and scalability.
Stakeholder & Partnership Management: Cultivate strong relationships with external partners, government agencies, and investors.
Operational & Risk Management: Streamline processes, ensure efficient resource allocation, and develop contingency plans.
People Leadership: Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional development within the team.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
* Degree in business administration, economics, management, or a related field.
* Postgraduate or professional qualification in a business-related subject (desirable).
Experience & Skills:
* 7-10 years’ experience in programme/project management or product development.
* Proven leadership experience, with a strong track record in managing teams.
* Knowledge of Agile methodologies and research literacy.
* Strong business development and networking skills.
* Experience in social enterprises, consultancy, or business advisory (desirable).
* Understanding of the UK early years service system (desirable).
