The Opportunity
Our client is at the forefront of new technologies across multiple industries. They are currently searching for C&I Engineers to join them on their Carbon Capture, Sustainable Fuels, and power station projects.
This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis from our client's office in Milton Keynes.
Remuneration & Benefits
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 Per Annum
Hybrid working is encouraged with 2 days from home. You can also expect to enjoy a 9-day fortnight, with every other Friday off!
You must have the full right to work in the UK, without requiring VISA sponsorship.
Your Duties and Responsibilities
1. Ensure engineering procedures and standards are being followed.
2. Assist in the production of various documentations, including:
1. Basis of design.
2. Specifications.
3. Data sheets.
4. Technical bid evaluations.
5. Detailed discipline drawings.
3. Participate in project, client, and vendor meetings.
4. Provide input to Construction Sub-contract and evaluate bids.
5. Provide technical assistance to junior engineers when required.
Your Qualifications & Experience
1. A degree-level engineering qualification with extensive and wide-ranging experience in design engineering and plant design work environment.
2. FEED and EPC knowledge.
3. Capability in design, from first principles, of electrical infrastructure associated with petrochemical plants.
4. Experience of working on major FEED and EPC projects in the process industry.
5. Experience of P&ID, HAZOPs, and SIL reviews.
6. Experience working on multi-office/multi-site projects.
7. Demonstrable background in working on UK Projects.
It's Great If You Also Have
1. Understanding of hazardous area requirements, DSEAR, ATEX, IEC 60079, API RP 500 & 505, and IP Part 15.
2. Understanding of all aspects of C&I Engineering and Design.
The Setting for the Role
Risks and hazards are in line with working in an office. These can include display screen equipment, stress, manual handling, slips, trips and falls, fire and emergency, work equipment, electrical safety, and temperature. A full induction will be provided and all safety requirements must be adhered to when entering the building.
