We are looking for experienced Senior Technical (Solution) Architects who are confident working on data-focused products/services in a complex digital environment, where they’ll be supporting major initiatives within our Data & Analytics function.
These roles will involve collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders across DWP Digital to support the delivery of solutions, creating options and recommendations, and providing expert advice to drive technology choice decisions.

The successful candidates will lead on the technical feasibility and design of a range of innovative solutions, working across teams delivering services in:
* Data Exploitation.
* Data Enablement.
* Data Platform.
* Deliver the technical and architecture design elements of Digital & Analytics (D&A) services.
* Support delivery teams, blending technical (development and architecture) and behavioural (communication) skills.
* Ensure technical quality and adherence of solution designs to the DWP Enterprise Architecture and Product Road maps.
* Identify, capture, share, iterate, and implement architecture patterns.
* Drive resolution of technical debt, to reduce the ongoing cost of DWP IT services.
* Present solution designs at governance forums, providing clear communication of architecture design and decision making, to gain approval to proceed with designs.
* Create solution options and recommendations - during project discovery and inception phases.
* Contribute to the DWP Architecture community.
