HSE Engineer – Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy Projects Job Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs in line with company and regulatory standards. Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification to ensure a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations relevant to Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy industries. Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventative actions. Provide HSE training and awareness programs to employees and contractors. Monitor and report on HSE performance indicators and ensure continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct regular HSE audits, site inspections, and environmental assessments. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project management teams to integrate HSE best practices into project planning and execution. Develop emergency response plans and participate in emergency drills and safety exercises. Promote a strong safety culture across all levels of the organization. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE roles within Oil & Gas and/or Renewable Energy sectors. Strong knowledge of international HSE standards such as OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and API regulations. Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and incident investigation techniques. Proven experience in conducting HSE training and audits. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
