What we are looking for
We are seeking a dedicated Administration Assistant/Receptionist to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will be managing daily administrative tasks as well as undertaking receptionist duties.
Responsibilities
1. Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
2. Manage and maintain office supplies and inventory.
3. Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
4. Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating meeting rooms.
5. Perform general administrative duties including data entry, filing, and organising documents.
6. Handle queries from clients and employees.
7. Utilise computerised systems effectively for office tasks.
8. Handle basic clerical tasks to support the office operations.
Experience
1. Previous experience in a Receptionist role.
2. A friendly and approachable team player.
3. Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
4. A proactive and organised approach to work.
5. Experience of Microsoft Office Packages.
6. Be well organised, able to prioritise and work in a busy environment.
7. Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail.
8. Effective written and oral communication skills.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
Education:
* GCSE or equivalent (preferred).
Experience:
* Customer service: 2 years (preferred).
* Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred).
