Job Description
Right at Home is Australia’s leading quality home care provider, caring for seniors, adults living with a disability and adults recovering from a hospital stay. There’s nothing more important than providing care for those in need, and Right at Home offers careers for Certificate III Companion Care Level Caregivers right through to Registered Nurses who provide complex medical support to our clients.
Right At Home Melbourne North (South Morang) is looking for a Personal Care Worker (PCW) for immediate start. You will be providing care for every client's individual needs in the comfort of their own home. Your assigned tasks are instructed by the registered nurse in the client care plan. Your responsibilities will include :
* Assisting clients with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing and toileting.
* Assisting clients with meal preparation.
* Providing companionship and emotional support.
* Driving clients to appointments and social activities.
* Driving between clients.
* Monitoring and reporting any changes in clients' health or wellbeing and promptly reporting to the RN.
* Accurately and thoroughly documenting services provided using Visual Care app.
We require you to have :
* Minimum 1 year Community nursing experience (in home care assistance).
* Current First Aid and CPR.
* Cert III in Aged Care.
* Police Check.
* Working with children check.
* Driver's licence and own car with comprehensive car insurance.
