About the Role:
As a Purchase Ledger, you will be crucial in maintaining accurate financial records related to purchasing and supplier invoices. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to process supplier invoices, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage the purchase ledger for our group companies, ensuring swift authorisation and accurate processing of invoices.
* Ensure supplier payments are made according to agreed terms.
* Liaise with internal departments and suppliers to address invoice discrepancies.
* Handle bank and supplier statement reconciliations, create and maintain supplier accounts, and oversee month-end closing.
* Assist with annual audits as needed.
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a Finance or Accounts Payable department.
* Highly organised with strong time management skills, capable of working accurately under pressure.
* Proficient in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
* Strong attention to detail and efficiency in a fast-paced setting.
What we offer
* A competitive salary of £25,500 pro rata, based on your experience.
* Full-time working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
