Job summary This is an extremely exciting and varied role as a key administrator within our Pre-Operative Assessment Unit .The position involves managing the flow of patients through correct booking procedures and providing support to our anaesthetic and nursing staff, allowing them to provide quality care to patients prior to their surgery. Main duties of the job To act as a co-ordinator and provide administrative support to the pre op team to support the pre op pathways The post holder will work closely with the multi-disciplinary teams (include nursing and anaesthetic teams) to ensure pathways for pre op assessments are effective, timely and in line with agreed targets To assist in the site specific data collection processes, pre op assessment pathway waiting times and national pre op data sets and input on various information systems.
