We are currently seeking a passionate and empathetic Secondary school SEND Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic secondary school in Worcester (WR4), where you can make a real impact on the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, helping them engage with learning.
2. Assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
3. Support teachers with tailored strategies for students with SEMH and other additional challenges.
4. Build students’ confidence and emotional well-being through patient support.
5. Help manage the classroom to keep students engaged and focused.
What We’re Looking For:
1. A compassionate, flexible individual who is motivated by the desire to help students overcome challenges.
2. Prior experience working with SEND students is helpful, but not essential—comprehensive training will be provided.
3. Strong communication skills to establish meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families.
4. A proactive approach to supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development.
