Job Description:
Domestic Gas Engineers are required for servicing and breakdown work on domestic properties. This large organisation is interested in qualified, experienced gas engineers that can commit to a full working week (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm) as PAYE employed. There are also opportunities to earn extra through O/T and call-out if requested, with average earnings of 45-50k on a normal 8-hour day. The current manager was previously an engineer on this contract and has implemented a motivating and achievable bonus structure. The ideal gas engineers will be based in or near the areas mentioned above.
Candidate Requirements:
A successful candidate will be reliable, hardworking, and driven to deliver the very best service to all clients and their residents. They should have an excellent attitude, a desire to learn and develop, and be effective communicators who can contribute to and strengthen the team while also being able to work independently. A successful gas engineer will have relevant and recent experience servicing various types of gas appliances and will be well-versed in completing landlords' gas safety records. They must have a minimum of 2 years' experience and hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points. Candidates must be able to pass a basic national security check (completed at the job offer stage).
