Rare opportunity to break into the construction industry as a Trainee Project Manager with a successful roofing company that undertakes both pitched and flat roofing projects throughout the UK. Having grown at a rapid rate, they are now pleased to offer this opportunity for a Trainee Project Manager to join their operational department.
The role – Trainee Project Manager
This role will sit within the Project Management team at their head office in Milton Keynes. You will be assisting across 6-8 pitched and flat roof projects simultaneously, receiving full support and training from a Senior Project Manager.
What you will be doing:
You would be partnering with a Contracts Manager to plan and deliver various roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. You would ensure the smooth flow of general construction & roofing projects on all projects you oversee and also within day-to-day operations of the company. You will visit site weekly or biweekly for prestart meetings, training days with the Contracts Manager, and to attend progress meetings.
Applicant requirements:
1. 4 GCSE’s or above.
2. Strong IT skills including Excel.
3. You will be a confident person with excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
4. You will be organised and able to prioritise your workload, and work off your own initiative.
