YOUR NEW ROLE We are looking for multi-disciplined Manufacturing Technicians to be involved in both setting and operating Fanuc controlled CNC lathes and vertical machining centres, as well as multi-axis turn/mill machining centres, to support the delivery of exceptional customer satisfaction for machinery into producing some of the worlds most impressive and life-saving pharmaceutical medications. YOUR MAIN DUTIES Set up and operation of a range of multi-axis CNC machine tools Use of hard gauging and CMM equipment to ensure product quality with fine tolerances Working in stainless steels and heat resistant super alloys Any other tasks deemed commensurate with the role of Manufacturing Technician SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE (Essential) Good knowledge of setting and operating Fanuc controlled CNC lathes and vertical machining centres Minimum of 2 years’ experience on multi-axis CNC turn/mill machining centres Strong understanding of ISO programming Capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings and documentation Use of Microsoft Office Experience in the setup and operation of Mazak Integrex machine tools (desirable) Knowledge of Mazatrol Smooth Control (desirable) Experience of twin turret, twin spindle machining (desirable) CONTRACTUAL BENEFITS 15 shift holidays (equiv. to 25 days holiday 3/5ths) plus take any bank holidays off, if a bank holiday falls on an ‘off shift’ day, then they get this back as a day in lieu added to their entitlement. Christmas shutdown and the necessary days are taken from their entitlement to cover this.
