We are currently looking for a Retail Sales Assistant (Counter Operative) to join our Whiteleas store. The working hours for this role are 16 hours per week with additional hours available in busy periods. Shifts will be between 8am and 5pm and will include Saturday and bank holiday working as necessary.
On successful completion of our training programme, you will have developed a good understanding of our policies and procedures and be able to deliver on the high standards we expect – this is a great foundation to build on and may lead to further progression opportunities within the business.
To be successful in the role, you must be flexible, reliable, and self-motivated. This role will be hands-on serving customers, replenishing stock, cooking, and making fresh products such as hot and cold sandwiches, salads, and baked goods. You must be able to demonstrate high standards of customer service.
This role will suit anyone who has a genuine interest in developing a career within Retail. For those looking to progress within a fast-moving organisation, there will be varying opportunities to develop into Supervisory and Management roles in the near future.
Experience in a Retail environment is essential, with experience working in food preparation roles desirable for the business. Applications will also be considered from those with cleaning and care experience.
