We have a number of opportunities for forward-looking and community-focused library managers to join us in our Neighbourhood Engagement and Delivery Officer (NEDO) role. In each of our areas, we have a team of NEDOs who work together to manage the staff who operate our libraries, the library buildings themselves, and all the services delivered from there. Our NEDOs also develop and deliver activities and events in libraries and across the area, working with a range of agencies and partners such as schools and community groups. We have two vacancies in our North Area and one vacancy in our South Area.
About The Candidate: The right candidate will have a good understanding of the way that Manchester libraries operate - our ethos, culture and our high expectations of customer service. We also need you to have the flexibility to work unsocial hours, including weekends and evenings to meet the needs of the service.
If you are passionate about the key role that libraries play at the heart of communities, we would love to hear from you.
