Conveyancing Assistant – Blackburn
An award-winning firm in the North West is looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to join its team and support a variety of residential conveyancing matters. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in customer service looking to start or advance their career in the legal field.
Responsibilities:
* Assisting with the management of conveyancing files, ensuring excellent customer service to all clients
* Communicating effectively with clients, colleagues and third parties via phone, email and in-person
* Supporting the preparation of legal documents and correspondence
* Assisting with the administration of residential transactions, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages and equity release
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and files
* Participating in business development opportunities and events
* Ensuring compliance with professional conduct rules and internal policies and procedures
* Supporting the financial aspects of client work, including billing and managing write-offs

Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience in a customer service role is highly desirable
* Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

* A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to learn and develop professionally in the field of conveyancing
