Apprenticeship Recruiter – LMP Education We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual, who is hard working and eager to join us at LMP Education. The primary goal of an apprenticeship recruiter is to ensure that our wide range of schools, Multi-Academy Trusts and organisations, receive talented and suitable apprentice applications, with the aim of securing a high volume of new starts onto our apprenticeship programmes. Additionally, emphasis on applying a candidate-led approach towards the role, by ensuring all candidates receive robust IAG and support into their next steps, whether that be through our apprenticeships, adult education programmes or further signposting and referrals. Key Details Salary: £25,000 per annual commission scheme Working hours: Monday – Thursday 9AM – 5PM, Friday 9AM – 16:30PM Location: Remote (with occasional travel expected for team away days) The Recruiter will work solely on their given caseload of apprenticeship vacancies (Approx 20-30 live roles at any given time), sourcing suitable candidates that fit the business needs and requirements of each client. They are responsible for advertising, screening, reviewing, confirming eligibility and liaising with both the client and account managers to arrange interviews and ultimately take full ownership of successfully filling live vacancies. The Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and effective recruitment process. Sourcing and Candidate Attraction: · Utilize various sourcing methods, including online job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals, to identify and attract potential candidates. · Work closely with sales departments to bring in new client vacancies and advertise across relevant platforms; creating eye catching adverts. · Create and maintain a talent pool of qualified candidates for future job openings. · Using reverse marketing techniques to match candidates with new leads, to maximise your fill/success rates. Candidate Screening and Evaluation: · Review resumes and applications, conduct phone screenings, and interview candidates to assess their qualifications and fit for the relevant organization. · Gather eligibility / right to work documents and certifications to support application process. · Complete a phone screening document with every candidate, compiling all documents to create a candidate profile of each applicant, which is then sent to the client for review. · Provide robust and clear IAG (Information, advice and guidance) to each applicant, to support with understanding if the role is the right fit for them. · Check references and conduct background checks when necessary. Collaboration with Hiring Managers: · Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, create job descriptions, and establish selection criteria. · Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process. · Interview Coordination – Liaise with clients and account managers to schedule and coordinate interviews. Be proactive in chasing for dates and updating all parties, including written confirmation to the candidates once bookings have been made. · Ensure a positive candidate experience and timely communication throughout the interview process. Offer and Onboarding Support: · Extend job offers to selected candidates and negotiate compensation and benefits. · Assist with the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires. · Keep candidates engaged and ‘warm’ whilst waiting for client responses. This includes taking full ownership of vacancies and candidates on your caseload, maintaining regular communication with all parties and utilizing the wider LMP offer such as, such as AEB short courses. Maintain Records and Reporting: · Keep detailed records of candidate interactions and progress in the recruitment process. · Generate and analyse recruitment metrics and reports to measure the effectiveness of the hiring process. · Maintain accurate and up to date candidate and client data, tracking status and outcome. · Ensure live adverts are kept up to date (reviewed on a daily basis) and reflect the status at each point in the recruitment process. · Take full ownership in producing weekly figures, reporting on highs, lows, vacancy progress and forecasting.
