Job summary
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic IT professional to join our End User Computing Team. We are increasing our resources to support the transition of over 9000 trust devices to Windows 11
The role will provide proactive management of all aspects the end user computing, including PC's, Laptops, Tablets, Mobile phones, Software management and patching., with a primary focus on the transition to Windows 11.
Excellent communication skills and a customer focus are also key attributes that the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate due to the constant interaction and support required in supporting colleagues through this process.

Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. If necessary, adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
Main duties of the job
The Trust is predominantly Microsoft based, so the successful candidate will need to have experience of operating and managing Microsoft based software. The successful candidate needs to have Good demonstrable and technical skills including but not exclusive to one or more of the following Application management skills:
1. End user computing devices management
2. End user computing peripherals management
3. Mobile Device Management and smart phone management
4. Multifunctional Devices and software management
5. SCCM Software Packages
6. Desktop and Application Patching
7. Asset management
8. License management
9. Patch Management
10. Creating and Managing Computer Images
11. Knowledge and understanding of software licensing
12. Microsoft Operating Systems, minimum of Windows 10
13. Active Directory
14. Anti-virus software configuration and support
15. Good, practical understanding of technical change control processes, upgrade
16. VDI Desktop patching and upgrading

Job responsibilities
As one of the EUC officers for the Trust, you are face to face with our colleagues from all aspects of the Trust. The EUC officers would with different teams and the ability to work well with others is key to our role. We have to be polite and professional at all times when working onsite.
The candidate would need to be able to travel from one site to another to support the transition to Windows 11 and as a result, hybrid / home working will not be possible for these roles.
Experience working with third parties is important as we have different parties providing different services.

17. Educated to Degree standard or equivalent in a relevant subject or with equivalent experiential learning in the field of ICT Technical Design and Support

20. Post graduate qualification in a relevant subject
