Health and Safety Advisor Grangemouth What you will be doing: An opportunity has arisen for an Health and Safety Advisor to join the team at Galliford Try. Support the Health & Safety Operations Lead on all health, safety & wellbeing aspects for the ESD Joint Venture. This includes the implementation of the Health & Safety Strategy and SHE Business Objectives. This role supports improvement and consistency in SHE performance, ensuring compliance with the BMS management system and implementing continual improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities: Support the implementation of the SHE strategy to drive continual improvement through the JV and working with the operational teams address short, medium- and long-term growth & learning opportunities. Proactively implement and support the Challenging Beliefs & Affecting Behaviour behavioural; programme Undertake Site Safety Inspection Reports providing feedback on findings (positive and negative) to Operations Management and the Supply Chain Carry out and support Incident investigations to determine root causes and key learning Provide SHE input to operational teams at Planning and through to project completion of any works. This will be through guidance, advice and support. Review high risk operational risk assessments and method statements reviews in conjunction with the Operational Teams Carry out SHE audits and Essential Checks Assists and supports the onboarding & management review of Supply Chain partners Supports the learning and development programme, developing internal training packages focussing on trend areas, preparing and delivering training and SHE presentations Utilises Health & Safety performance KPI’s to review overall SHE performance and drive continual improvement.
