Our client INEOS O&P are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Planner to join their team on a contract basis.
ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY
As a Maintenance Planner you will develop, monitor and update detailed Asset Maintenance plans. You will also develop, apply and maintain Asset work breakdown structures, schedule reports, and resource assignments.
Key accountabilities
1. Ensure planned work is appropriately reviewed, scheduled and on the Asset maintenance plan.
2. Deliver ongoing forecasting of INEOS and 3rd Party resource demand and carrying out resource levelling/smoothing as necessary.
3. The Asset Maintenance plan includes routine planned maintenance activities and larger local equipment outages.
4. Accountable for the asset maintenance schedule.
5. Accountable for ensuring the timely development of plans/programmes to the level of detail required for efficient/effective scheduling of resources, service, etc.
6. Accountable for the creation, management and upkeep of the Work Breakdown Structure.
7. Accountable for the correct WBS assignments and appropriate overall schedule structure.
8. Monitor plan/programme execution and update programme for progress.
9. Attend and actively participate in progress meetings to extract information for updating programmes. May include leading such meetings.
10. Accountable for ensuring contractor planning/scheduling are realistic and deliverable.
11. Sharing knowledge and experience with planner/schedulers.
Please note this role will include some periods of inconvenience to support planned and unplanned plant outages. This position is a 6-month rolling contract so we are unable to accept applications from candidates requiring employer visa sponsorship.
ABOUT YOU
You should:
1. Be educated to HNC level in an engineering discipline or similar. In lieu of formal qualifications suitable relevant experience is required in a similar environment.
2. Have an understanding of planning tools such as Primavera and software such as SAP, Maximo.
3. Demonstrate planning and organisation skills with the ability to work under pressure.
4. Have the ability to follow and implement company planning processes.
5. Be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
6. Be logical, proactive and methodical when problem solving.
7. Have the ability to analyse data/information and to report recommendations and justification in the appropriate language.
8. Be enthusiastic, highly motivated and prepared to work flexibly in a changing environment.
9. Hold a strong commitment to improvement of SHE performance.
