Operating mainly in the education, leisure and commercial sectors they have secured a significant pipeline of work and are thus looking to add to their professional team. Site Manager Running projects varying in size from £3 - £25 Million you will oversee daily operations on site, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities Take full responsibility for managing the construction site, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff. Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets. Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards, promoting a culture of safety on site. Conduct site inspections to ensure work is carried out to specification and quality standards Manage site resources efficiently, including sub-contractors, materials, and equipment. Identify and address potential issues proactively, providing solutions to mitigate risks. Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and compliance documentation. Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and health & safety regulations. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges. Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications. Proficiency in site management software and tools. Relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS card, NVQ Level 6/7, or equivalent)
